	The clutch discs for these sets are designed around the Spicer type clutch hub assembly, which has proven it's durability through the years in over the road trucks and provides unlimited heavy hauling capacity in the diesel pickup category. Our RAM designed marcel cushioning system provides a smooth engagement and driveability.

	RAM HDX sets feature a Hi-clamp pressure plate with a true 3300 pound clamp load (a 20-35% increase over stock, depending on the application). This feature is designed in and not a modification to an existing product. Release travel length is exactly the same as the stock pressure plate, and the design features a wider pressure ring casting providing increased heat absorption, resulting in longer service life.

	Powergrip HD sets feature the same Hi-clamp pressure plate plus an all metallic facing material on the same design disc carrier. Powergrip HD sets provide capacities in the 450 horsepower range.
