900 Series Street/Strip Clutch Systems

Originally developed for Mustang enthusiasts, the RAM 900 Series clutches are designed to provide additional holding power in street/strip vehicles up to 500 horsepower. The hear of the system is the 900 series clutch disc, consisting of a sintered iron friction material similar to those used in high horsepower Pro Stock and Pro Modified clutches. The unique material offers big increases in holding power without the need for heavier static pressures that are used with organic and bronze metallic clutches. 900 Series discs are for use with RAM flywheels only! Using this disc with other flywheel brands may cause accelerated wear and will void any warranty.

For over 500 horsepower, RAM 11 inch sintered iron clutches

If your Mustang or fast Ford is over 500 horsepower, it's time to upgrade to 11 inch components. 10.5 inch components simply do not offer the strength of the super duty 11 inch Long Style clutch. These combinations can handle up to 1000 horsepower in a single disc unit. To make the conversion, you must use a scattershield and it must be dial indicated to the engine. We'll build you a 164 tooth flywheel to match your engine balance, and a starter change finishes out the conversion.
