RAM Professional billet clutches
are engineered to provide the ultimate in clutch control. RAM billet
clutches feature a unique lever design that allows for complete control
of the centrifugal loading of the clutch. Units are available
in single, double, and triple disc versions utilizing either 5135 or
5191 compound iron discs. Ten inch units are used in Pro Modified, IHRA
Pro Stock, Pro Street, and blown alcohol applications with engines over
1000 horsepower. Eight inch units can be used for NHRA,
Competition, and class racing. Seven inch clutches are popular for smaller
motor applications including Pro Import. Every RAM Professional
billet clutch is custom assembled for your application based on the
specifications of your car. Please allow 2 weeks for standard ring gear
configurations, 4 weeks for custom flywheels. Requires a bellhousing depth of 8 1/8 inches or more.

Why a computer
will help you
If you are racing in Pro Stock,
Pro Modified, Top Sportsman or Pro Street, you need a data logging
computer. No other tool in your trailer will help you more in getting
you clutch combination correct. By monitoring input shaft RPM, Engine
RPM and output you will generate information on how much the clutch is
slipping (or not slipping) on launch and through the gear changes. In
addition, RAM technicians will be able to better help you analyze your
runs for optimum performance. Help with making your clutch work is part
of what you should get with a good clutch system, and that's how it
works with RAM.

Here are some of the key
features:
 |
Pressure adjustments
are made through the static pressure (A) and centrifugal pressure
weights (B). |
| Mating surfaces are
one piece and are available coated, as seen right. |
 |
 |
Titanium stands are
adjusted to reset the ring height measurement. |
| Dial height gauge
allows simple resetting of the ring height during between round
maintenance. This is critical to consistent performance of the
clutch. |
